I wish to dedicate “Walk With My Sister” to all those who have lost a sister or brother. I know only too well the heartbreak of sibling loss. I have also seen how my own children struggle to come to terms with the death of Alex.
This is a home recording of a song composed and sung by me, with lyrics written by me, one afternoon whilst on the farm. So please don’t steal it! Sergio Sands is on guitar and without his help, it would not have been possible to record the song as I don’t even own a mic. I’ve found that creating music is cathartic in helping to express my grief. When we recorded it, we weren’t intending to share it with anyone. But losing Alex has shown me that what you think one day can be totally different from the next. So here it is.
